Rebeca Gomez is a writer and educator who was integral in building the screenwriting program at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  

She is a published journalist and higher education professional.  She writes articles, television pilots, feature film screenplays, and novels.  In her fictional writing, Rebeca enjoys exploring complex relationships and the human condition, often through a supernatural lens.  

Rebeca's original pilot script, Ghost Problem, was a quarterfinalist in both the ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship Competition and the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards.  

Rebeca currently resides in Denver with her husband and four fur babies (three dogs and one cat).
